Overview
TempusLearning is a shared learning platform built and maintained by ASD Arts and Education Ltd / Designed Learning Solutions, positioned as both an off-the-shelf Moodle-based LMS and a full consultancy service for Christian organisations. The strapline for this project —”Revolutionising Christian Learning Through Partnership and Innovation” demonstrates how partners bring a vision for lay ministry or discipleship training, and TempusLearning supplies the pedagogical and technical expertise to build it out.
Partnership Offer
Tempus Learning is built around three concrete service pillars:
- Building Educational Partnerships — brokering alignment of vision, resources and impact across churches, ministries, theological institutions and Christian organisations
- Providing Access to Digital Infrastructure — the Moodle-based technical platform enabling online, hybrid, and blended learning that combines accessibility with excellence
- Consultancy, Design, and Production Services — described end-to-end as strategy and concept to delivery and evaluation, producing bespoke learning solutions aligned to each partner’s mission and values
This is a full-service instructional design offer, not just LMS hosting: strategy, curriculum co-design, platform build, and evaluation are all named as part of the engagement.
- Quality — impactful, life-changing learning experiences
- Creativity — original blends of learning methods and approaches
- Accessibility — hybrid, online and networked learning
- Contextual fit — connecting with who the learner is and what they are doing
Partner / Cohort Structure
Each partner has its own course area, and courses (e.g. Starting New Christian Communities, Schools Chaplaincy, Responding well to Homelessness) are commissioned per-partner rather than built as generic, one-size-fits-all content.
Ed-Tech Delivery
- LMS: Moodle, custom-themed for TempusLearning, reused as shared infrastructure across all partner organisations
- Accessibility toolkit: Site-wide, covering visual impairment, seizure/epileptic, colour vision deficiency, ADHD and dyslexia profiles, adjustable text size/line height/spacing, dyslexia-friendly font, reading guide/mask, and cursor options — applied consistently regardless of which partner’s course is being viewed
- Support infrastructure: A dedicated Support page routes technical queries to a named support email, separate from general enquiries — a basic but sound service-desk separation
- Site glossary: A shared glossary module, suggesting deliberate attention to shared/consistent terminology across partner courses
Partner Feedback
- CCHP, Cambridge: describes as listening to initial ideas and adding “their unique blend of innovation, creativity, experience and professionalism” to reach a more interactive and accessible result than the partner expected.
- Ambassadors Football, UK: describes a bespoke platform build for an internship programme, with TempusLearning “involved in all stages, journeying with us from the start with the curriculum design through to setting it all up on the portal.”
Both testimonials emphasise the same pattern: partner-led vision, DLS-led curriculum design and technical build, sustained relationship rather than a one-off handover.
