Designed Learning Solutions (DLS) was conceived as a response the proliferation of digital tools and technologies that have been developed for use in learning settings, or adopted by them. Many organisations have the desire to develop their use of these, but are looking for educationally sound solutions that enhance rather than inhibit the reach and impact of their provision.
DLS is founded on a simple premise; that almost everything we do in life involves learning. In education, the workplace or in the community, learning is organised and structured in various ways, according to specific goals or needs. Therefore, good learning design requires contextual sensitivity and active integration of ethos, people, place(s) and purpose.
